Bathroom

This project was a labor of love for my dear friend's parents, creating their forever home. With the goal of "aging in place," we designed a handicap-accessible bathroom that seamlessly combines thoughtful functionality with timeless sophistication. Key features include lowered vanities for wheelchair accessibility, a curbless and doorless shower wide enough for easy navigation, a spacious layout for maneuverability, and a custom bench that spans the length of the shower. Polished nickel grab bars double as safety elements and design details, perfectly complementing the other bath hardware. To reflect their refined taste, we chose a neutral color palette inspired by nature, bringing a sense of serenity and understated elegance to this highly functional space. This bathroom is a testament to the idea that accessibility can—and should—be beautiful.

Caroline and her team are not only professional and creative; but also fun, patient, and truly delightful! The spaces she transformed in our home are beautiful, functional, and timeless designs. So very grateful for Caroline!
