This stunning Queen-Anne home, built in 1900, underwent a transformative renovation that preserved its timeless character while adding modern functionality. Originally a single-story home, the addition of a second floor with two full bathrooms and three bedrooms was made possible when the architects discovered the attic's soaring 14-foot ceilings. Together, we transformed the space, carefully restoring original moldings and woodwork, and matched those details when restoration wasn’t possible. A spacious kitchen was created with a functional island made from pre-Industrial Revolution wood, and the laundry was relocated from the basement for easier access. A windowless guest bath was transformed into a dramatic, all-plum retreat, while the playful theme of the son’s bathroom was brought to life with a custom yellow-painted claw-foot tub. A bespoke bar and customized features like a console sink paired with an antique mirror, intricate millwork, and tall ceilings complete this thoughtfully designed space, accented by a soothing paint palette throughout.

We are so glad we worked with Caroline and her team - she made sure our historic home renovation didn't feel like you were walking into a brand new build, her designs made it feel like the house should've always been this way! Every space is so thoughtfully planned and executed. Thank you so much!!
